Lake Michigan shapes Chicago weather and its sense of direction. So do the Dan Ryan, the river, freight tracks, and decades of segregation. Uptown has new arrivals and people sleeping outside within a few blocks of expensive apartments. How to start a study in your Chicago living room
Invite two people
A neighbor, a coworker, family. Start with the people you have. The first believers devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, meals, and prayer, and they met in homes (Acts 2:42,46).

Eat together
The first church broke bread in their homes "with glad and sincere hearts" (Acts 2:46). Pizza counts. This matters more than it sounds like it does.
