Jesus Saves church is a global community of Jesus followers modeled on the first church in Acts 2 — before buildings, denominations, and programs. Nobody here is paid. Nobody will ask you for money. We meet wherever people can sit down together, which in Chicago usually means somebody's living room or a table at Chicago Public Library.
Lake Michigan shapes Chicago weather and its sense of direction. So do the Dan Ryan, the river, freight tracks, and decades of segregation. Uptown has new arrivals and people sleeping outside within a few blocks of expensive apartments.
