About Jesus Saves Cities
Jesus Saves Cities is published by Jesus Saves church, a global, non-denominational community of people following Jesus. The church has no paid leaders, owns no church building, and collects no money. This site helps people meet Jesus, respond to the gospel, find baptism, share life with other believers, and love people where they live.
Why this site exists
Jesus told His followers to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them to obey everything He commanded (Matthew 28:18-20). A disciple needs more than an event. People need the words of Jesus, a clear response to the gospel, other believers nearby, and practical help when following Him gets hard.
That is the reason for the city guides and Read & Learn library. Every resource is free. Nobody will ask you for an offering.
Where the church came from
Jesus Saves church describes its history through three passages rather than a list of institutional milestones: God’s love shown through His Son in John 3:16-17, Jesus’ mission in Matthew 28:18-20, and the shared life of the first Christians in Acts 2:41-47. What “church” means here
The church is people. In Acts 2 they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, shared meals, and prayer. They met in homes and shared so nobody among them remained in need. A living room, coffee shop, park table, or hospital waiting room can hold church life because a religious property is not the church.
Who writes the pages
Articles are published and reviewed by the volunteer editorial work of Jesus Saves church. We do not invent author credentials or attach a private person’s name to a page merely to make it rank. Our editorial team page explains the work, and our standards explain the checks.
