The county’s beauty sits beside severe housing costs, visible homelessness, refugee resettlement, military turnover, and cross-border family life. City Heights and El Cajon welcome families from around the world. Downtown services carry heavy demand. Beaches create accessible baptism water, but surf, bacteria closures, rip currents, and crowds demand lifeguarded, designated locations and same-day checks.

How to start a study in your San Diego living room
Invite two people
A neighbor, a coworker, family. Start with the people you have. The first believers devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, meals, and prayer, and they met in homes (Acts 2:42,46).
Open the Gospel of Matthew

Eat together
The first church broke bread in their homes "with glad and sincere hearts" (Acts 2:46). Pizza counts. This matters more than it sounds like it does.
