Honest questions about Jesus, asked in Saint Paul.

Some Saint Paul questions come from a childhood church, some from another faith, and some from watching Christians fail to love. We will return to Jesus and the apostles, admit what Scripture does not answer, and never use the conversation to ask for money.

Frogtown, Rondo, Dayton's Bluff, Highland Park, the West Side, and the East Side cannot be reduced to one Saint Paul story. The Green Line connects places without erasing their histories. Hmong, Somali, Latino, Black, Indigenous, and longtime European-American neighbors share the city while experiencing it differently. A local table should respect language, winter transportation, work schedules, and the person already doing the welcoming.

Saint Paul is stitched together by river bluffs, Green Line stops, old neighborhoods, and families who arrived from many parts of the world. A new neighbor in Frogtown may be learning a bus route in January. A patient on the East Side may be facing another appointment alone. Following Jesus here means crossing the distance, listening without hurry, and returning when the weather turns hard.
