We're a few ordinary people in Washington County — St. George, Washington, Santa Clara, Ivins, Hurricane — who read the Bible in living rooms, eat together, and serve where there's need. What this is (and isn't)
Jesus Saves church is a global community of Jesus followers modeled on the first church in Acts 2 — before buildings, denominations, and programs. Nobody here is paid. Nobody will ask you for money. We meet wherever people can sit down together, which in St. George usually means somebody's living room or a table at FeelLove Coffee.
Local texture matters here. St. George is one of the fastest-growing metros in the country — half the people you meet in Little Valley or Washington Fields arrived in the last decade, and new-to-town is the loneliest demographic in Dixie. Utah Tech students cycle through four years and often can't find a faith community that isn't tied to one tradition. No. Nothing is collected — no tithing, no offerings, no fast offerings, no building fund. Nobody here is paid. The first church shared person-to-person as anyone had need (Acts 2:44-45), and that's the entire financial model.
Which denomination is this?
None. Non-denominational followers of Jesus modeled on the church in Acts 2 — which existed before every denomination, tradition, and headquarters on earth. One Lord, one faith, one baptism (Ephesians 4:5).
