Jesus Saves church is a global community of Jesus followers modeled on the first church in Acts 2 — before buildings, denominations, and programs. Nobody here is paid. Nobody will ask you for money. We meet wherever people can sit down together, which in Reno usually means somebody's living room or a table at Idlewild Park.
The Truckee ties together Idlewild, downtown, Wells Avenue, and east toward Sparks, but Reno’s neighborhoods live differently. Midtown can feel young and transient; northwest Reno carries students and long-time households; Sun Valley faces deep material need; south Reno keeps expanding across former open ground. Housing costs and winter nights press hard. The region also has a strong volunteer network working on hunger, youth homelessness, river health, and people rebuilding after crisis.
