Choose an honest sentence
You do not need a speech. Explain what you have come to believe about Jesus, the Son of God, His death, and His resurrection. Say what you are learning to obey. Mark 5:19 records Jesus telling a restored man to go home and tell what the Lord had done for him.
Family members may hear your decision as rejection of them. Make respect explicit. Ask what worries them. Do not turn dinner into a debate. First Peter 3:15-16 calls Christians to answer with gentleness and respect.
Let changed behavior speak
Apologize where you have caused harm. Become more dependable. Serve without performing. Refuse to use Jesus as a weapon in family disagreements. The claim that you follow Him should become visible in the way you love people who disagree.
Jesus warned that following Him can divide families (Matthew 10:34-39). That warning does not give permission to provoke conflict. If disclosure could expose you to violence, homelessness, forced confinement, or another serious danger, make a safety plan with a trustworthy adult or local professional before having the conversation.
