What this is (and isn't)
Jesus Saves church is a global community of Jesus followers modeled on the first church in Acts 2 — before buildings, denominations, and programs. Nobody here is paid. Nobody will ask you for money. We meet wherever people can sit down together, which in Raleigh usually means somebody's living room or a table at Wake County Public Libraries.
State government, universities, and the Research Triangle draw a highly educated and international population. Raleigh's prosperity is uneven: displacement pressures affect historically Black neighborhoods, transit access shapes opportunity, and Wake County families still face food and housing insecurity. Students arrive and leave; refugee families learn a new system; suburban distance can isolate people. A faithful local gathering notices who cannot easily cross town and builds near them.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." — Acts 2:42. That's the whole model, and it moved into the streets every day. Learn Jesus' words, then live them in Raleigh: forgive, welcome, feed, serve, baptize, and help somebody else follow Him. The study is preparation. Love is the work.
